• HOW TO APPLY?

  Please complete and submit the ‘course application form’ to ALAM. http://alam.edu.my/admissions/international-students/

  Please ensure to attach the relevant documents as required.

  Please find the information for application of Immigration Approval Letter and Student Visa at below under Immigration Information and Student Pass information, respectively.

  Please ensure you meet the below entry requirements to register as ALAM student.

  Immigration Information

  Please read the following instructions for application of Immigration Approval Letter:

  1. Candidates are required to courier the following relevant documents to ALAM International Students Unit:

  Documents required for Immigration Approval Letter

  • Photocopy of applicant’s passport (Full Pages) - 3 copies (A4 Size)
  • Passport size photograph with blue background – 8 copies               
  • Full Personal Data (c.v.)
  • Highest school examination certificate and full transcript (In English)
  • Medical Report (using the Ministry of Higher Education’s medical form)

  2. ALAM will submit the documents to relevant Government authorities (Ministry of Higher Education and Immigration department). (Normally it takes 28 working days to get the approval) 

  3. ALAM will courier the Immigration Approval Letter (validity 3 months) to candidates together with an ALAM course offer letter

  4. Candidates will have to take the Immigration Approval Letter, ALAM course offer Letter and their International passport to the nearest Malaysian Embassy in their country to be endorsed.

  5. The Malaysian Embassy will issue an entry visa.

  6. Candidates will then fly to Malaysia, bringing along the Immigration Approval Letter and ALAM Course Offer Letter. ALAM’s International Students Unit officer will pick up the candidates at the Immigration counter at KLIA.

  1. Passport – to act as your formal identification document
  2. Student Pass & Visa Approval Letter
  3. Original Copy of School Certificates
  4. Policy for International Students
  5. Medical Health Report and Form
  6. Flight ticket
  7. Driver’s License
  8. Acceptance Letter and Immigration Approval Letter
  9. Original Academic Qualification transcript – in English (compulsory)
  10. Receipts / proofs of payment for all fees
  11. It would be a good idea to make a copy of your documents (for example, Acceptance Letter, Approval Letter, Original Academic Qualification transcripts, receipts).
