Great Eastern Supremacy Scholarship Award Great Eastern Supremacy Scholarship Award is one of the leading programmes in the insurance industry. Every year since 1998, we have been the platform to almost a hundred deserving, talented, young Malaysian to acquire their dreams. The total amount of scholarship offered by Great Eastern Life to date is over RM7.9 million to 117 recipients. They dared to dream, to be different, and took the lead in realizing those dreams. In addition to that, this is also our way of nurturing the best talents for our company's future leaders. Here, we do not just provide great career opportunities for people; we also nurture, care and develop them from young - even before they begin their journey towards success. Since  2012,  we are changing the  way we do things around here because We are no longer a life insurance company, we are a LIFE company. Our scholarship award is also changing. We want young, talented Malaysians who dream to be different to be part of our supremacy scholarship program. Great Eastern Supremacy Scholarship Awards Types REQUIREMENT OVERSEAS LOCAL (Public & Private) Citizenship Malaysia Malaysia Attending or obtained confirmed/conditional entry into Recognised overseas universities be able to gain admission to the local public or private universities for approved courses of study Certificate Outstanding or Good STPM results, A Levels, UEC, SAM, CPU, Matriculation, Diploma or its equivalent Outstanding or Good STPM results, A Levels, UEC, SAM, CPU, Matriculation, Diploma or its equivalent Confirmation of Award Provisional offer of scholarship will be made subject to the confirmation of acceptance by the abovementioned educational institutions. Applicants to be considered from local private universities must have completed their matriculation or the first year in their degree programme Sports & Extracurricular Activities Active member of any sports & extra curricular activities Sponsored Course 1. Risk Management Scholarship Value (fees and living allowance) RM100,000 per academic year Local Public universities - RM 15,000 per academic year Local Private universities - RM 25,000 per academic year Tenure Minimum period required by the University to complete course of study Condition of the Award Award holders must not be bonded to or holding any other scholarships or receiving financial assistance from any other institutions or organizations.
