Application Customer Engineer - Expert	Responsibilities: As a Post Sales Application Engineer located in Malaysia for the Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis Group (LSCA) of Agilent Technologies you will provide support to customers on Agilent Chromatography Instrumentation (GC/LC/GC-MS/LC-MS) and/or Spectroscopy Instrumentation (UV/AA/ICP OES/ICP MS/FTIR/Dissolution). Your primary responsibility will be providing remote phone, on-site technical & applications support, and customer training. You MUST be fluent in English, both written and verbal. In addition to those activities defined above, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Establishing and maintaining a highly responsive relationship and effective communication with customers, sales reps, peers and other departments within Agilent to ensure customer satisfaction Reports to and works closely with the local Customer Service Manager. Provides remote phone for application support for customers. Assists with applications development of specialist team. Maintains communication within the entire platform support community. Monitor training gaps and recommend curriculum for customers. Spread technical knowledge including regular TC's. Solves complex system hardware/application problems which may include Installation, implementation and training customer on customized solutions. Perform on-site consulting and training services according to post sales application support delivery process, especially for complex system customer. Technical or business consultant to group and business level managers; possesses deep awareness of new technologies/market evolution. Adhering to environmental health and safety guidelines. R&D Mechanical Architect - Master	Responsibilities:- Responsibilities: Define and design mechanical architecture for new instruments/equipment. Lead and involve in mechanical platform and technology building block (TBB) development activities. Lead one or more mechanical design teams during product design and issue troubleshooting. Perform feasibility studies and come out with proposals for a new potential projects. The proposals consist of technical assessment, resources, schedule and BOM cost. New technologies research and exploration. Consistently explore new way of designing instrument and equipment to make it more reliable, low cost, modular approach and compact. Develop design specification, product specification and mechanical architectural documents. Develop mechanical test specifications and methodologies leading to meeting product requirements, compliance to safety and regulatory standards. Work closely with mechanical lead, system engineer and project manager. Working with mechanical manager to defined mechanical technology road map, mechanical platforms development and technology building blocks. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers. As technical advisor to mechanical manager and project team leads on technical related matters. Requirements:- Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of mechanical design experience in R&D environment. An experienced mechanical lead. Familiar with ISO13485 RnD design environment. Experience in medical/life science/chemical analysis or any other laboratory instrument design. Experience in one or more of the following designs:- Mechanism, low cost automation, optic, fluidic, chassis, heating and cooling system. Knowledgeable in statistical tools, DFMEA, 8D troubleshooting process and etc. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong leadership and influencing skill. Able to work in an environment with minimum information provided. Team player who can “wear multiple hats” and establish good rapport with internal customers, cross-functional team members and suppliers. Able to adapt well in a dynamic working environment, eager to learn new knowledge, able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and planning skills required.
R & D Hardware Test Engineer - Expert	Responsibilities: This R&D Hardware Test Engineer position offers the opportunity to work on Agilent’s Life Sciences & Chemical Analysis instruments. The test engineer will engage with the R&D EE, ME and FW design teams throughout the product development cycle to review the system architecture, product specifications and customer applications. The test engineer defines test strategies, designs test plan and test cases and executes tests to ensure product meets design specifications, quality & reliability, safety, regulatory and compliance requirements. Review product specifications, project documentation, system requirements and customer applications. Develop test plan and test cases to ensure coverage of requirements and application functionalities. Develop test schedule and provide testing milestones input into project plans. Lead test reviews and write test report. Conduct the Design for Test analysis based on schematic and PCB accessibility study to enhance in-circuit test coverage. Analyze product requirements, validate issues, drive debug and resolution of challenging issues to ensure products are released successfully Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or University Degree or equivalent in EE Electrical/Electronic Engineering. At least 4 years of experience in R&D or NPI/Test Engineering. Good knowledge in basic electronic instrumentation (DMM, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer and etc) and testing methodology. Good knowledge of C/C++/C# programming. Experience programming in Visual Studio .NET environment is an advantage to the candidate. Good Organization, planning, communication skills and ability to work in a team. Analytical mind coupled with a systematic approach to problem solving. Experience in RF hardware test/ design e.g. amplifiers, switches, filters, etc Hands-on experience with operation of RF test equipment such as Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer is added advantage. R & D Project Manager - Expert	Responsibilities: creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Effectively applies Agilent PLC and enforces project standards. Prepares for checkpoint reviews and quality assurance procedures. Executes proper risk management. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Manages project budget. Requirements: You will need to be educated to at least university degree level (and have completed post-graduate study/have certification/license). Supply Chain Planning - Expert	Responsibilities: Where will your specialist knowledge, functional breadth and technical leadership have most impact? Right here, when you develop, integrate and take ownership of strategic operations plans that encompass multiple and diverse products / processes across different businesses. You'll also liaise with a number of functions to develop, validate, communicate and implement business operation plans and strategies throughout the product life cycle. Plans and coordinates end-to-end supply chain planning, including when goods should be produced and in what quantity, while optimizing the balance between customer delivery requirements and inventory levels. Malaysia Global Trade Manager - Expert	Description Work proactively with key business partners (AOF/Manufacturing) to ensure compliant trade and non-trade imports and exports by Agilent's businesses and functions across all Malaysian ports of entry, including adherence to all applicable U.S./non-U.S., and local laws and regulations and with Agilent's policies. Focus on compliance oversight of Agilent businesses.  Work specifically with the local customer care center and logistics personnel on requirements and strategies for their procedures and operations.  Provide training and awareness to these teams on their application to their teams. Provide consulting and awareness on the key aspects of country of origin requirements for the manufacturing activity in Penang. Review products/services for impact of regulations such as the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Customs Regulations. Train, consult with, and advise employees through assessments and audits of international trade practices of businesses. Be the visible spokesperson for training activities pertaining to import, export, dangerous goods regulations.
